open courses
How are open courses different from company courses?
The main difference is that open courses are available to everyone and held on fixed dates, while company courses are tailored for teams and can be customized to align with the organizational context.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes, we offer a 50% discount for students on the original price of the course. To claim your discount, send an email to training@polars.tech using your university email address.
How can I enroll in a course?
You can enroll via our scheduling tool, Koalendar. Currently, we only accept credit card payments through Stripe. After enrolling, you'll receive a calendar invite and additional details.
What are the prequisites for the open courses?
The only prerequisites are familiarity with Python programming and access to a computer or development environment capable of installing the required tools: Python, Polars, and Jupyter. The training is hosted via Google Meet.
I enrolled but I can't attend the session any longer. What to do?
Reach out at training@polars.tech. We offer a full refund if you cancel at least a week before the training. For cancellations closer to the date, we refund 50%.
